Another Day

Today we did a number of things. We went to the museum and I learned a lot of things. I learned that Chicago had a larger fire in the 1800's. It started with this lady in her barn milking her cow. Also, I learned in 1919 there was a race riot. The race riot began when an African American teenager crossed an imaginary line in the water separating the race to the 29th Street Beach. That led to a lot of fighting with weapons.

      Another interesting thing we did was when we went to community health.Community health was a health center for people who could not afford health insurance .I thought that was a wonderful way for others to stay healthy.In the meeting we talked about how some of their patients have not been to the doctor in years because of the cost of it. So that center allows them to get the proper care they need.I was really amped about the built in pharmacy in the center .I found community health very convenient. -Kaylah :)
