Youth Trek

It has been an honor to spend this week with these wonderful young ladies.  I want to thank Ms. Jessica for allowing me to tag along and the ladies for welcoming me into the group.   As a native of the suburbs of Chicago it has been such a treat to share my home city with these Trekkers!  We have had so many wonderful adventures and met with so many interesting and inspirational Chicago leaders that it is hard to believe it has only been 4 days. Every hour we faced new challenges together - we overcame obstacles, shared MANY laughs, and created wonderful memories. I was impressed with the caring nature of these young ladies, their thoughtful questions, and lovely singing voices.  I am very much looking forward to hearing about the adventures these leading ladies will be taking on in the future and hope they will cherish these memories as much a I will!
