Well, yesterday we had our first meetings and I have to say we did a pretty good job!! We started our day off at Rush University Medical Center and it was a BLAST! We were greeted by some really intelligent and nice ladies who took time out of their day to meet with us! The chef prepared a really beautiful (and tasty) lunch and it made me feel like we were really welcome. Each lady who we spoke with worked throughout the hospital in really high positions. That was super cool because you know, it is always good to see the ladies in charge. LOL :) Anyway, the ladies were extremely nice to be around and answered all our questions with a very positive attitude and they also gave advice while answering the questions. Next, we have the International Interior Design Association! It was super, super cool to meet with Ms. Monica! It was amazing how she linked everything with interior design! She most definitely gave some of the best advice I had heard in a long time. One thing I really took away from her was, "No matter where you want to go in life, you have to have connections." I really enjoyed my entire day yesterday and I cannot wait to see what is in store for today! -Tierra
