UPS Headquarters

What an amazing time at the UPS headquarters today in hot Atlanta, Georgia. Today we met up with two very inspirational young ladies. Their names were Janice and Quatara. Both very amazing women who were very welcoming to us as soon as we stepped through those doors. When we first got into the headquarters of UPS we went straight to lunch, where we all got  a Chick-fill-A sandwich that was delicious and a healthy salad to go with it. While eating lunch we had discussed things about our futures and future careers. Ms. Janice had told us, if it's janitor, waiter, or even part-time teacher, do your best at it. You never know who's watching so you need to be on point and enjoy what you do regardless of what it is. After lunch we headed upstairs into the conference room. In the conference room we talked about various things about UPS itself. Such as how many customers they get each day, how many delivery trucks that the company has worldwide, how many planes that UPS owns, etc. By going to UPS today I can answer all three of those questions. UPS gets approximately 8.8 million customers a day! That sure is alot! Did you know that UPS has about 99,000 trucks and about 500 planes that they use to deliver things worldwide.  We also learned that UPS not only focuses in their investments but most importantly different communities. UPS is always giving back to the community by picking crops, cleaning facilities, etc. They're always doing something that is helpful to not only them but with others as well. After the conference with both Ms.Janice and Ms. Quatara we had received bracelets from a country in Africa from Ms. Janice. Thank you so much again Ms.Janice I really appreciate it. We had also received a UPS bag that contained a shirt, a water bottle, a small notebook, and a book based on the history of UPS which stands for United Parcel Service. Thank you so much again Ms.Janice and Ms. Quatara for the advice and making us just feel welcome.

Love, Camra
